About my Journey
We were invited to dinner at probably the most expensive and respected diner
in Zurich. It boasted original artists on all its walls. All worth millions
and millions of dollars. I just happened to be sitting next to a Henri
Matisse painting, and was quite awestruck in this beautiful boudoir. I don’t
recall which one it was, but since he painted just over 1000 paintings,
it would explain my absence of knowledge on the one by our table. Matisse
said “There are always flowers for those who want to see them!”. I saw a
flower that night. Now I paint them.
